VC: This is another great value from Spain. 100% Tempranillo sourced from very old vines, it’s deep ruby in colour, with aromas of mixed berry fruit and roasted coffee. Dry, medium-bodied, creamy textured and well-balanced with ripe, brambly berry flavours replaying on the palate. My: Simple and delicious with dark chocolate and fleshy black plum notes. Full-bodied, supple and round. Food matches: roast lamb, roasted stuffed peppers, vegetable casseroles.
