VC: This Old Vine Zin impressed our panel, showcasing how “œAmerica’s grape“ can make a wine that’s both fun-loving and serious at the same time. It’s bursting with ripe blackberry, black cherry, bramble and sweet oak aromas and flavours. Dry, full bodied with a soft, mouth-filling texture and an extraordinarily long finish. Finely balanced and drinking well now, it will pair beautifully with braised ribs. My note: Brambleberry and blueberry bright with a ripe, fleshy fruit core that brings you back to the glass sip after sip, guzzle after guzzle. Full-bodied, supple and satisfying.
