VC: Chiaretto, an Italian term for rosé, literally means ‘neither red nor white‘. Made with the local corvina, rondinella and dindarella grapes, the wines are allowed only a few hours on their skins to extract the
pleasant pink color. My note: A lovely dry rosé with loads of strawberry fruit. Food matches: cold appetizers, cold cuts, pan-fried freshwater fish.
